Museum and Outreach Visits

Groups of ten or more are encouraged to experience the Museum through a guided tour. These are offered Wednesdays through Fridays and must be reserved at least 3 weeks in advance. In addition to the traditional, staff-led outreach programs, we offer performances by visiting artists to area schools as available.

Visiting Artists in Schools

Each year, the Spurlock Museum brings visiting ethnic and folk artists to
the Champaign-Urbana area for public concerts, demonstrations, and workshops. When available for an extended stay, outreach programs by these artists are offered to area schools. Please contact Kim Sheahan for further information about these unique program opportunities.
